You wouldn’t normally associate a heaping pile of cheesy pasta goodness with good nutrition, but trust me, if you do it right, it totally is! I took seasoned ground turkey, pasta, and all natural pasta sauce and mixed it in a bowl. Then I took half of that mixture and spread it into a baking dish. On top of that I spread Greek yogurt (low fat ricotta is great too), and then layered the rest of the pasta mixture on top of that. Sprinkle some cheese and seasoning on top, bake til hot and bubbly, and now you’ve got yourself a healthy comfort food that’s Fix-approved.

General Tso’s Chicken is usually breaded, fried, and then tossed is a sauce loaded with less than nutritious ingredients. Thankfully I was able to satisfy my Chinese food cravings tonight with a healthy baked version. The sauce is so flavorful and the baked chicken is so perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, that you’ll be throwing out your takeout menus.
