Breakfast: Shakeology + Fruit
Another great start to the day with Shakeology! I added 1/2 banana to my shake again today for my fruit serving. And like yesterday, I started the day with a lot of water and continued to drink it throughout the day.
Mid Morning: Fiber Sweep
I wasn’t even hungry by the time mid morning rolled around, but I had my Fiber Sweep and I knew I’d be nice and full til lunchtime.
Lunch: Vanilla Fresh + Fruit + Veggie + Healthy Fats
I added a little cinnamon to my Vanilla Fresh today and it was so good! For lunch I enjoyed 1/2 an apple, pea pods, and 2 tbsp of almond butter. I know you’re probably looking at the plate and thinking that it doesn’t look like much food, but I felt very satisfied after eating it. And that almond butter was such a treat!
Afternoon Snack: Veggie + Healthy Fats
I’ve always loved hummus as an afternoon snack, so this was perfect for me. You can dip just about anything in that stuff and I’ll love it!
Dinner: Vanilla Fresh + Dinner Recipe + Broth
Tonight’s dinner I decided to make the Kale with Pine Nuts recipe. I toasted the pine nuts in a dry pan, and set that aside. Then in a large saute pan I sauteed a clove of garlic in some water. When the garlic is soft but not colored, I added a little of the veggie broth and then the kale. After the kale cooked a few minutes, I stirred in lemon juice, the pine nuts, and seasoned with salt and pepper. It was delicious!
I’m really enjoying my evening tea. I think it’s going to be a nightly ritual.
Today I didn’t feel hungry at all in between meals. Each meal was delicious and I felt satisfied afterward. I made sure to keep drinking my water throughout the day and I didn’t feel lethargic or low on energy. I didn’t have a chance to do Pilates today like I had hoped, so I may try that for tomorrow. All in all today was great and I feel good, looking forward to another great day tomorrow.
