Breakfast: Shakeology + Fruit
I added my usual 1/2 banana to my Vegan Chocolate Shakeology. Chocolate and bananas are just made for each other!
Mid Morning Tea
Mid Morning: Fiber Sweep
The Fiber Sweep was the perfect mid-morning snack. It kept me full until lunch, which ended up being later than I expected. I didn’t feel hungry at all though.
Lunch: Vanilla Fresh + Fruit + Veggie + Healthy Fats
The Vanilla Fresh reminds me of Shakeology because it really feels like a meal by itself. Between that and the sweet red grapes, savory roasted red pepper hummus and crunchy pea pods, I was surprised how full I was afterwards.
Afternoon Snack: Veggie + Healthy Fats
I typically eat my afternoon snack 2 hours after my lunch, but I wasn’t hungry so it ended up being more like 3 hours afterwards. I was was excited for the guacamole though, and it felt indulgent to be eating one of my favorite foods while doing the Refresh!
Dinner: Vanilla Fresh + Dinner Recipe + Broth
Like all the dinner recipes on the 3-Day Refresh, this Vegetable Stir Fry was super simple to put together but very flavorful!
Today I decided to do the 21 Day Fix’s Pilates Fix. It felt good to get moving again! I did feel a little low on energy later in the day though, so next time I do the 3-Day Refresh I probably will refrain from working out.
I can’t believe it’s over! Before I started, I was nervous because I though the restricted diet and limited calories would be so hard to cope with, but I’m happy to report it wasn’t a problem at all. Not once did I feel bloated or gassy, and after every meal I was left feeling satisfied… not hungry and not too full. I loved how easy it was and how convenient all the meals were. I truly do feel “refreshed” and can definitely see myself doing this again in the future. I’m looking forward to my final weigh-in tomorrow and my final results!
