The Workout: Cardio Fix EXTREME
Another seriously challenging workout! I was dripping with sweat by the end and my legs were like jello! Autumn is serious about working your entire body, and she accomplishes this with some incredibly intense exercises. One of the hardest was the Jack Press Jump. You start in a squat with weights by your shoulders, then jump into a jumping jack with the weights pressed above your head, and end back in a squat.
The Sumo Squat Curl incorporated sumo squats and arm curls. Another great example of how well Autumn utilizes the entire body for the maximum calorie burn.
The Meals: Countdown to Competition Eating Plan
egg whites + steel cut oats (1 red + 1 yellow)
Shakeology (1 red)
chicken + zucchini noodles + sauteed veggies + coconut oil (1 red + 1 green + 1 tsp)
I love zucchini noodles, and this Cajun Zucchini Noodles recipe just happened to be Countdown to Competition approved! I slow cooked some chicken in some blackened seasoning and tossed that in with the veggies. It was so flavorful, and a great way to get in a teaspoon of coconut oil.
chicken + zucchini noodles + sauteed veggies + coconut oil (2 red + 1 green + 1 tsp)
chicken + green beans + guacamole (1 red + 1 green + 1 blue)
This Southwest Seasoned chicken was delicious paired with guacamole and Mexican green beans. The green beans were seasoned with coriander, cumin, salt, pepper, and tossed with chopped garlic and roasted.
